Neighbors Serving Neighbors
Our Story
It started with a football field and lots of dirty laundry.
In 2009, three of us met as student equipment managers on the BYU football team. Not players. Equipment managers. Scott was a Flower Mound kid who wouldn’t stop talking about Texas. Nathan had just come home from six years in the Army and two combat tours, struggling to find his footing. Ryan stumbled into the job on a sports class tour. None of us knew at the
time that an equipment room could give us community and friendships that would last a lifetime.
Then life happened. We went our separate ways, built careers, started families.
In 2016, Nathan met Jonathan Chassé and they hit it off instantly. They started a property management company together, pulled Scott in from his job managing hundreds of rental properties, grew it fast, and sold it together. Meanwhile, Ryan was leading digital marketing for the Houston Astros. (Yes, those Houston Astros.)
Eventually all four of us ended up at We Work. Between property management, construction, and commercial real estate, we spent a decade learning everything we could about facilities and taking care of properties and the people in them. Then we scattered again.
Until November 2021, when we bought a tiny HVAC company called Bart’s Heating & Air in Justin, TX. A small office. A big belief that we could build something we were proud of.
We didn’t start from scratch, and we want to be clear about that. We’ve combined four local companies built by founders who trusted us to carry on what they started: Bart’s, Prosper’s Finest, Christmas Air, and Mim’s. Some of these businesses go back over 20 years. We take that responsibility seriously.
Today we’re nearly 50 team members strong. Three of us live right here in Flower Mound. Our kids go to school here. We’re coaching little league, we’re band dads, we’re the loud ones in the cheer section at soccer games. When we say we’re local, we mean we’re in it with you.
That’s us. That’s our story. And honestly? We’re just getting started.

Ryan Smith
Honorary Flower Mound Dad of three. Will outrun you despite the peak dad bod.
